The Culling Games arc for Jujutsu Kaisen is where the anime stops playing around in terms of strength and kills. This arc is not just about raw cursed energy or flashy techniques, but also is about survival, in one of the most brutal death matches designed in anime history. Ancient legends battling it out with modern prodigies, veterans duking it out with fights, and figuring out their place, such kinds of fights are what culling games are about.

What makes this arc even more terrifying is knowing the amount of dominance that is displayed in here. While some fighters have overwhelming strength and dominance, others break the fighting system with bending logic, pure luck, or even use comedy as a weapon. Today, we are here to talk about some of the strongest Sorcerers in the Culling Games.

Strongest Sorcerers in the Culling Game Arc

1. Ryomen Sukuna

JJK Sorcerers Culling Game Sukuna

Sukuna is what we call a force of domination, the entire Culling Games. While playing for his own pleasure, the King of Curses’ presence is enough to know who tops the power scale. His mastery over cursed techniques, domain expansion, and sheer combat cruelty make him a standard bar to cross if you want to call yourself strong. Even when he was faced off against reincarnated sorcerers, one thing was clear: none of them came close to the era of Sukuna’s rule.

2. Satoru Gojo

JJK Sorcerers Culling Game Satoru Gojo

While he was sealed through most of the Culling Games activities, we cannot set aside Gojo when it comes to strength. His Influence, being the strongest modern sorcerer, is so important that he had to be sealed using tricks just so that we could get out Culling games. His Six Eyes and Limitless technique represent a level of dominance that even legendary monsters like Sukuna respect. Talking about pure strength, Gojo was the only sorcerer who rivaled Sukuna compared to other living sorcerers.

3. Kenjaku

JJK Sorcerers Culling Game Kenjaku

While Kenjaku isn’t the flashiest fighter, he’s arguably one of the most dangerous characters in the anime. With his cursed technique of stealing bodies and minds, Kenjaku has gained vast amounts of experience and an unmatched understanding of cursed techniques. Being the only master and architect of this game, Kenjaku has been controlling the battlefield like a chessboard, which makes him even more dangerous to deal with.

4. Yuta Okkotsu

JJK Sorcerers Culling Game Yuta Okkotsu

Among the modern era sorcerers, Yuta Okkotsu is considered the most complete Jujutsu fighter. Having immense cursed energy, the ability to copy techniques, and the manifestation of Rika, Yuta has the ability to stand tall against any opponent. What makes him different than other Jujutsu sorcerers is that he doesn’t need to overpower enemies; he studies them mid-fight and dismantles their strengths.

5. Yuki Tsukumo

JJK Sorcerers Culling Game Yuki Tsukumo

As one of the four Special Grade sorcerers, Yuki Tsukumo is already amongst the top-tier fighters in the Culling Games. Her cursed technique allows her to manipulate mass, making even the simplest attacks deadly. While other sorcerers chased points for survival, Yuki just had one goal: to eradicate curses entirely. Such clarity in her goal added to her overwhelming strength, making her a standout presence in the point-based chaos of the Culling Games.

6. Yuji Itadori

JJK Sorcerers Culling Game Yuji Itadori

Even though he is the protagonist of this series, Yuji Itadori has not outright dominated the Culling Games. But with every fight, he grows, and he grows with exponential speed, which makes him quite terrifying. Enhanced due to Sukuna’s initial presence within him and experiencing constant near-death battles, Itadori’s strength, durability, and combat instincts have grown off the charts, which is nearly impossible for a regular human turned sorcerer to achieve.

In the Culling Games, he fights various ancient sorcerers and survives those battles, which alone speaks volumes about his growth. While he might not be the strongest now, with time, he will turn into something beyond our dreams.

7. Hajime Kashimo

JJK Sorcerers Culling Game Hajime Kashimo

Kashimo, one of the ancient sorcerers, is a walking calamity, after Sukuna, of course. Known to fight with his electric cursed energy, Kashimo chases his opponent down with relentless aggression and precision. Like his electric cursed energy style, his attacks are fast, lethal, and designed to end battles instantly. But above all, what truly stands out about Kashimo is his mentality, one that does not think about survival or points, only focuses on fighting the strongest opponent possible, even if it leads to his death. Such a mindset makes him one of the most dangerous players in the Culling Games.

8. Kinji Hakari

JJK Sorcerers Culling Game Kinji Hakari

Hakari is a wild card when it comes to the Culling Games. His cursed energy operates like a jackpot mechanism (similar to his gambling habits), where if he hits said jackpot, he becomes nearly unkillable. While his gambling-based technique looks quite unstable, when it comes to his peak moments, Hakari operates on a level comparable to Special Grades, making him one of the most dangerous wildcards in the game.

9. Maki Zenin

JJK Sorcerers Culling Game Maki Zenin

Maki Zenin is one of the most talented sorcerers in the Culling Games, and after her transformation, she has been functioning on a different level. While she has zero cursed energy, her monstrous physical strength and mastery over every single cursed item make her rival even the toughest Special Grades through sheer lethality. Her strength is displayed in full when she is seen taking on Ancient sorcerers, who struggle to keep up with her.

10. Ryu Ishigori

JJK Sorcerers Culling Game Ryu Ishigori

Among the many reincarnated ancient sorcerers, Ryu Ishigori is one known for pure destruction. Having the highest recorded cursed energy output in the history of Jujutsu Kaisen, every attack from him is capable of being a nuke. In a situation like Culling games, where hesitation could mean death, Ryu’s raw firepower makes him one of the deadliest combatants on the battlefield.

11. Yorozu

JJK Sorcerers Culling Game Yorozu

Among the reincarnated sorcerers from the Heian-era, Yorozu is someone who represents terrifying adaptability. Being a Special Grade on top of that only proves her to be one of the dangerous participants in the Culling Games list. Her Cursed technique is one that allows her to create and manipulate constructs with extreme precision, which makes her mind the strongest weapon in her arsenal.

Yorozu does not charge into battle like a powerhouse; her style is more on the tactical side, overwhelming opponents through versatility, strategy, and brutal efficiency. And it is shown in full effect during her battle against Sukuna, she proved that she belongs among the strongest sorcerers ever unleashed in the Culling Games.

12. Fumihiko Takaba

JJK Sorcerers Culling Game Fumihiko Takaba

Ever thought a comedian could be a deadly Culling Games participant? Well, Fumihiko Takaba is just that. His reality-warping comedy-based technique transcends every logic present in the universe. This is proven during his fight against Kenjaku, when he was on even grounds with the creator of the Culling games. Using his technique, Takaba helped Yuta to capitalize and kill Kenjaku for good.
