With less than a week until the Suicide Squad ISEKAI anime premiere, Warner Bros. Japan Anime has dropped the opening theme. The opening sequence features the song โAnother Worldโ by Tomoyasu Hotei, with direction, storyboarding, and animation by Takuji Miyamoto at WIT Studio.
Suicide Squad Isekai Premiere Details
The series premieres worldwide on June 27, kicking off with three episodes and then releasing one episode each week, totaling 10.

The opening has already gained more than 200k views within the first 24 hours on YouTube. And DC Japan took to Twitter to announce the same.
Why is it called Suicide Squad Isekai?
Well simply because it’s an Isekai anime and the story goes as follows:
In the crime-infested city of Gotham, Amanda Waller, A.R.G.U.S.’s leader, has gathered a team of criminals for a mission: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface, and King Shark. These DC Super-Villains are transported to a realm linked to their world through a GATE.” It’s a place of swords and sorcery where orcs roam and dragons soar. An adventure!
Upon entering ISEKAI Harley and her companions cause chaos. They are soon apprehended by the soldiers of the Kingdom and imprisoned. With 72 hours remaining, until the bomb around their necks detonates, time’s running out. To secure their freedom they must agree to defeat the army as demanded by Queen Aldora. They have no option but to face the enemy head-on on the battlefield.
