The long-anticipated anime adaptation of Junji Ito’s horror manga, Uzumaki, is finally set to premiere. The tale revolves around Kirie Goshima (also known as Kirie Uzumaki, on Google searches) and Shuichi Saito, a pair of high school students residing in the village of Kurouzu Cho. An enigmatic “spiral curse” befalls the town leading to terrifying occurrences. Together the duo faces challenges to stay alive and shield their ones from the clutches of the curse.
