What happened in Dandadan Episode 9?

Dandadan episode 9 picks up with Ayase, Aira, and Okarun being ambushed by the Serpoians(Serpo Aliens). Aira manages to hold her ground with her newfound powers of Acrobatic Silky. However, the Serpoians have a potent psychic ability against which she is ineffective. As things become dire, Ayase arrives and saves both Okarun and Aira. Having identified the need to work as a team, the trio engages with the Serpoians who have merged themselves with Nellie and the Shrimp. In a long, difficult underwater fight, the three are finally able to defeat the Serpoians. They return to their reality only to be discovered in their rather unclothed state by the entire school!

Commenting on one of the most heartwarming scenes, here is what Maleficent-Mud-584 had to say, “My only goal today is finding out whether Momo will be thankful for the hardness.” She was definitely relieved! The comic ending of the episode was also picked up by fans.

As the preview suggested, they are not yet done with the aliens as the Dover Demon(Shrimp) will ambush them again. Reminiscent of other series episodes, Dandadan Episode 10 will take a turn from comedic to an action-packed situation where we have cows being extracted by a UFO.

Further questions regarding aliens might also be explored. What is the mystery behind the Dover Demon(Shrimp) and the Serpoians’ interaction? It didn’t seem friendly. Why were the Serpoians behind the organs of special humans like Aira, Ayase, and Okarun? They had superior technology and extremely effective powers!
