The latest member to join the Tarot Club is Derrick Berg, who hails from the City of Silver, within the Forsaken Land of the Gods. Derrick Berg is a teenage Beyonder of the Sun Pathway. Every member of the Tarot Club is given a codename, and Derrick chose The Sun, which is adapted from the Sun Pathway.
Derrick used to worship a crystal ball during a period of desperation, and one day, he was summoned by Klein Moretti into the Gray Fog, the place where the Tarot Club was established. When presented with the opportunity to join the organization, Derrick happily obliged.

Derrick Berg’s Past Does Not Define Him
Derrick Berg is a muscular man who has the feeling of a lone wolf. Even though he is just a teenager, Derrick has a traumatic past where he had to kill his parents because of a deadly curse in Silver City. Since dark clouds and lightning always cover the City of Silver, Derrick desires to become the sun and bring his homeland out of the Forsaken Land of the Gods into the sunlight. As a person, Derrick is one of the honest individuals, even though he is naïve. Instead of the Hermes language, he speaks in an ancient tongue called Jotun.
Derrick often shares valuable information casually, which could have fetched him money. He is inexperienced and lacks the ability to navigate through complex situations. As a result, others often take advantage of him without his knowing. Thankfully, with time, he became mature and learned to deal with complex situations. He is always grateful to the Tarot Club members for helping him.
Derrick Berg Is A Role Model To Others
Derrick Berg may have been too honest and naïve, but there is barely any hard worker like him in Lord of Mysteries. He is the perfect example of how hard work triumphs all. Derrick is a crucial member of the Tarot Club and successfully carried out several missions, like discovering parts of Roselle’s Diary. Even though it was a difficult task, he did everything he was asked to.
His tasks were next to impossible, yet he fulfilled them and earned everyone’s trust at the Tarot Club. Due to his hard work, Klein Moretti gifted him with the Sun Pathway’s potion. Later, he was also part of other crusades, becoming one of the most accomplished and potent members of the Tarot Club.
What Are Derrick Berg’s Abilities?
As a Beyonder of Sequence 9: Bard of the Sun Pathway, Derrick Berg’s physical ability improved. While he belongs to a low sequence, Derrick was granted the ability to sing, through which he could imbue himself with multiple abilities like dispel fear, becoming stronger, improving spirituality, speed, and agility, etc. It is only the beginning, as advancing through the Sequences will grant him more potent abilities.
