Re: Zero Season 3 Finale saw the third Witch Cult’s Sin Archbishop of Gluttony coming to her brother’s rescue. Previously, Lye Batenkaitos and Roy Alphard were known to possess two different abilities: Gluttony, Gourmet, and Bizarre Eating. However, the siblings’ sister, Rui Arneb, possesses the Satiation ability of Gluttony.
Re: Zero Season 3 Episode 16 showcased Rui saving her brother, Lye, from Otto and Beatrice. Everyone is familiar with the two Gluttony brothers, but the sister is new to them. It raised several questions regarding her abilities and how strong she is. Rui Arneb is just as strong as her brothers, possessing the same skills.
The Third Sin Archbishop of Gluttony, Rui Arneb
Following Lye Batenkaitos and Roy Alphard, Re: Zero Season 3 revealed their sister and the third person with the title of Sin Archbishop of Gluttony, Rui Arneb. She looks to be in her mid-teens with long blonde hair, blue eyes, and sharp teeth. Rui possesses the Satiation aspect of Gluttony, and unlike her brothers, she emphasizes who she eats with rather than devouring everything in front of her. Rui is shrewd and described as an “Evil Intent” in a child’s shape.

What Abilities Does Rui Arneb Possess?
The Satiation Aspect of Gluttony possesses the following abilities:
- Gluttony: Like her brothers, she can devour memories and names of her foes. All she has to do is touch them with her left hand and then lick the palm of the same hand. Human experience, talent, likes, dislikes, relationships, etc., are considered to be food for her. Even if the Sin Archbishop is killed, the forgotten memories and names will not return to their original owner. However, the only downside to this ability is that if she eats a fake name, she will suffer from severe nausea.
- Solar Eclipse: It allows Rui to transform into a person who has fallen victim to her. Solar Eclipse helps in retaining the looks of her victims. While her brothers are not fond of this ability, Rui has used this multiple times. One of her victims was Neiji Lockhart, on whom she used the Solar Eclipse.
- Lunar Eclipse: Through Lunar Eclipse, Rui Arneb is able to gain access to the victim’s memories, and get familiar with the skills and knowledge they possess. However, the Lunar Eclipse cannot replicate Divine Protections.
Other than these, Rui Arneb is a Master Class Fighter, which allows her to gain the abilities of her victims through her Authority. She also possesses abilities such as Leaper, which allows short-range teleportation, Body Takeover, Splitting, Creation, and many more.
