Wind Breaker season 2 released the main trailer ahead of season 2’s release. Wind Breaker season one pretty much laid the foundation of the story, with Haruka Sakura joining the Bofurin and becoming a better individual. He left his days of being a delinquent behind and is trying his best to maintain the peace in the town along with his colleagues.
However, maintaining peace is never an easy task. Wind Breaker season 2 will bring a new challenge for the protagonist and Bofurin, with everything ultimately coming to a fight. The main trailer featured a glimpse of the upcoming season and revealed the release date, along with Bofurin’s upcoming fight with another delinquent gang, KEEL, who will look to gain absolute authority in the town. The opening theme artist for season 2 will be SixTONES, and the ending theme song will be “It’s Myself,” performed by Shytaupe.
When will Wind Breaker Season 2 Release?
The main trailer revealed that the anime will premiere on Thursday, April 3, 2025. It will be broadcast on MBS/TBS. For fans worldwide, it will be available to stream on Crunchyroll. However, the streaming platforms may differ based on region, with a few countries having Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, etc., for streaming.
Wind Breaker Season 2 will Showcase Bofurin vs. KEEL
The trailer showcased glimpses of the battle between Bofurin vs. KEEL. The protagonist, Haruka Sakura, is a part of Bofurin, and along with the rest of the gang, they try to uphold the town’s peace. On the other hand, KEEL is also a delinquent gang, but their ideals are different from Bofurin’s.
They are more of a rowdy nature, preferring to brawl anytime they prefer. One of the most interesting things about KEEL is that they rely on blunt weapons instead of hand-to-hand combat. In the trailer, they were seen enjoying the fight, with the Bofurin members having injury marks on their faces.
Special Screening Of Wind Breaker Season 2 Announced
Apart from the main trailer, an announcement came forth surrounding a special screening of Wind Breaker season 2. After the special screening, there will also be a talk show consisting of the cast of the anime. The special screening will happen on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the United Cinema Aquacity Odaiba. The tickets are priced at 2500 Yen, which will happen through a lottery system.
Fans can register for the lottery from Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 19:00 to Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 23:59 (JST). The winners will be announced on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 18:00. The planned speakers for the special screening event are Yuuma Uchida, Nobuhiko Okamoto, and Junya Enoki, even though the speakers are subject to change without notice.
