After Spring and Summer 2025, the anime world is ready to witness the power-packed line-up for Fall 2025. Several popular titles, such as One Punch Man, My Hero Academia, To Your Eternity, etc., will be returning with new seasons, with the fans’ expectations skyrocketing. While there are multiple anime that are scheduled to be released in the fall of 2025, it becomes difficult to watch every one of them. So, here is a list featuring the most popular titles of Fall Anime 2025, which have the possibility of winning everyone’s hearts, along with awards.

1. One Punch Man Season 3

  • Creator(s): ONE, Yusuke Murata
  • Release Date: October 5, 2025
  • Animation Studio: J.C. Staff
  • Where To Watch: Crunchyroll

One Punch Man Season 3 has already hyped up the fans since it will be returning after six years since Season 2. It will feature the Monster Association arc, which encompasses the entirety of the evil organization and how the Hero Association will deploy its best heroes to fight against them. Even though Saitama is not one of the top ten heroes, it will be interesting to see how the parody characters get into the scene, whether he can find someone worthy of his time, especially since Garou will have a major upgrade and will be a menace to the heroes.

One Punch Man Season 3 replaced Chikara Sakurai with Shinpei Nagai as the director of the series. The series airs right around the 10th Anniversary of One Punch Man. Season 3 could also be treated as a redemption arc because Season 2 failed to carry on Season 1’s standards, and now fans will be watching Season 3. Nonetheless, One Punch Man Season 3 is one of the main attractions of Fall 2025 and a potential candidate for Anime of the Year.

2. Spy x Family Season 3

  • Creator: Tatsuya Endou
  • Release Date: October 4, 2025
  • Animation Studio(s): Wit Studio, CloverWorks
  • Where To Watch: Crunchyroll

Spy x Family Season 3 is one of the most anticipated anime of Fall 2025 since fans love the trio of Loid, Yor, and Anya, and can barely wait to see them be part of all sorts of shenanigans. The Friendship Schemes arc and the Red Circus arc will be the main focus of Season 3. The former will explore Damian and Anya’s bond, while the latter will be action-packed with Anya’s school bus getting hijacked by terrorists. Like always, Spy x Family brings a wholesome vibe to the screen, with comedy sprinkled every now and then.

Spy x Family Season 3 brings Yukiko Imai as the director, potentially replacing Kazuhiro Furuhashi. The upcoming season will bring chaotic entertainment to the fans, with the bonding of a fake family. Spy x Family Season 3 remains on everyone’s watchlist ahead of Fall 2025, especially since there is a possibility of the anime exploring Loid Forger’s (Twilight) past.

3. My Hero Academia Season 8

  • Creator: Kouhei Horikoshi
  • Release Date: October 4, 2025
  • Animation Studio: Bones Film
  • Where To Watch: Crunchyroll

My Hero Academia Season 8 will have a lot of eyes on it since it will officially mark the end of the anime. Since it is the final season, it will feature the Final War arc and the Epilogue arc, concluding Deku, Todoroki, and Bakugo’s journey. There are several fights to look forward to, including Deku vs. Tomura Shigaraki and All Might vs. All For One. After the war, fans will get a glimpse of how the Pro-Heroes have settled and an introduction to new characters.

Naomi Nakayama will be returning as the director, along with the other cast members, for the final season. There will be lots of action, with the characters fighting both physically and emotionally. My Hero Academia has averaged 23-24 episodes every season, and it will be interesting to see whether they maintain the same with the final season. However, there is an ongoing speculation about it having fewer episodes. Nonetheless, everyone will tune in to see the Pro-Heroes one last time.

4. To Your Eternity Season 3

  • Creator: Yoshitoki Ooima
  • Release Date: October 4, 2025
  • Animation Studio(s): Drive, Studio Massket
  • Where To Watch: Crunchyroll, Ani-One Asia

Fall 2025 has a strong lineup of anime, with To Your Eternity Season 3 making it stronger and more diverse with its philosophical background. The upcoming season will adapt the Modern arc, where Fushi will explore the modern and technologically advanced world, believing he has finally achieved peace. Unfortunately, as the story progresses, Fushi understands that peace is still a distant dream. Luckily, meets old and new friends, alongside antagonists, making it a complete story.

Kiyoko Sayama returns, along with the newly recruited director, Souta Yokote. While the past seasons have been focused on Fushi finding himself, To Your Eternity Season 3 will explore him getting to know the essence of humanity, how to coexist with others, and other deeper philosophical matters. As a whole, To Your Eternity Season 3 is a must-watch for Fall 2025.

5. Ranma ½ Season 2 (2024)

  • Creator: Rumiko Takahashi
  • Release Date: October 5, 2025
  • Animation Studio: MAPPA
  • Where To Watch: Netflix

Ranma ½ (2024) was the reboot of the original Ranma ½ anime, with season 2 scheduled to release in Fall 2025. The reboot has been faithful to Rumiko Takahashi’s magnum opus and is following everything in order. Ranma’s bizarre male-to-female and vice versa transformation will continue in season 2, with lots of comedy, chaos, and romance. Unlike the 1989 anime adaptation, the current director and animation studio are hopefully about fully adapting the manga, bringing it to a close.

The fans have praised Ranma ½ (2024) for its attention to detail, animation, and respect for the artwork of the manga. The old cast has returned once again, including Kappei Yamaguchi as Ranma (male), Megumi Hayashibara as Ranma (female), Noriko Hidaka as Akane, etc. Without a doubt, Ranma ½ Season 2 (2024) has the potential to steal the spotlight of Fall 2025, with its chaotic Rom-Com.

6. 3-Z Ginpachi Sensei

  • Creator(s): Hideaki Sorachi, Tomohito Oosaki
  • Release Date: October 7, 2025
  • Animation Studio: Bandai Namco Pictures
  • Where To Watch: NA

3-Z Ginpachi Sensei is the spin-off of Gintama, with Ginpachi Sakata returning as the teacher of class 3-Z, which is the most unruly class of the school. The anime will bring back the laid-back Ginpachi Sakata that everyone adores, but instead of a bizarre setup, it will feature a parody of school life along with all the eccentricities. When it comes to the trio of Ginpachi, Shimura, and Kagura, anything and everything can happen, and the fans are expecting a rollercoaster journey ahead.

The anime will have a new crew with only Tomokazu Sugita (Ginpachi) and Daisuke Sakaguchi (Shimura) reprising their roles. Most of the characters will be returning in 3-Z Ginpachi Sensei, creating a ruckus that often exceeds everyone’s expectations. 3-Z Ginpachi Sensei might not be a candidate for Anime of the Year, but it can provide fans with a once-in-a-lifetime comedy experience.

7. SANDA

  • Creator: Paru Itagaki
  • Release Date: October 4, 2025
  • Animation Studio: Science SARU
  • Where To Watch: Prime Video

SANDA is one of the hidden gems of Fall 2025 and should be on everyone’s watchlist. In a dystopian world where everyone has forgotten about Christmas and Santa Claus, Shiori Fuyumura’s unorthodox method helps her awaken a muscular Santa Claus within her classmate Kazushige Sanda. In the hopes of finding her best friend, Ono Ichie, Shiori and Sanda explore a restricted world where children are considered precious, yet they have no freedom. SANDA’s emotional aspect, along with action and mysteries, easily makes it a great watch.

With a renowned cast and crew, SANDA Episode 1 has already premiered during Anime Expo 2025, but will be available for streaming in the first week of October 2025. SANDA’s cultural theme on steroids makes it one of the most unique anime of Fall 2025, and could easily overshadow others if it lives up to its expectations.

8. Kingdom Season 6

Kingdom Season 5 adapted the Bureaucrats’ Job arc, which will continue in season 6, and after it, the Western Zhao Invasion arc will be adapted, which is the main theme of the upcoming season. Shin’s character development will reach a new level with him wielding Ouki’s spear. The Western Zhao Invasion arc is lengthy and will require multiple episodes to fully adapt it.

Kingdom Season 6 will be directed by Kenichi Imaizumi, who is reprising his role along with the other members of the crew. While the old cast members will be returning, there are also new additions, including Koji Takeda (Ako), Dai Matsumoto (Mako), Masaaki Mizunaka (Katari), etc.

Being an ONA (Original Net Animation), Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 will not broadcast and will directly released on Amazon Prime Video.
