Following the mellow, light hearted episode 5, Dandadan episode 6 pumps up the action with Acrobatic Silky, a new powerful yokai, coming to the fore. And yes you read that right- Okarun’s ball power! So let’s get started on another well made episode of this smash hit series.
What is Okarun’s Golden Ball Power?
Well basically, Turbo Granny coated Okarun’s balls with spiritual energy and dropped them during her battle with our protagonists. The resultant Golden Balls contain a great amount of life energy which is what demons and yokai feed upon. Additionally, these Golden Balls tend to awaken supernatural powers incase they are in close proximity to a human.
Who is Acrobatic Silky? Aria’s Mommy?
As luck has it, Aria, Ayase’s rival in school, comes to possess one of Okarun’s Golden Balls. This results in her being able to see supernatural entities. However at the same time, she becomes susceptible to attacks by such entities as well. She has a fertile life energy source with her, remember? Well, Acrobatic Silky is the yokai who attacks Aria. With considerable strength, speed and acrobatic agility (and her silky hair), she poses a significant threat to our team of Okarun, Ayase, Turbo Granny and Aria.
With short glimpses in what must be Aria’s childhood, the yokai might be connected to the vain high school student in some capacity. Maybe a mother, maybe something sadder? She was willing to let go of Aria as long as she called her “mommy.” The yokai did not display any kind of interest towards Okarun’s Golden Ball. All she seemed to want was the recognition of her being “mommy.” Quite interestingly, she was even willing to hear it from Ayase when she held her hostage. There is much to be known about Acrobatic Silky’s past and her connection to Aria.
How strong is Acrobatic Silky?
Dandadan episode 6 introduces us to an awesome yokai with a unique fighting technique. Acrobatic Silky uses her expanding silky hair in combat alongside her acrobatic physical capabilities. However according to Turbo Granny, the enemy is a rookie, so much so that she didn’t bother to recognise and keep track of her. Acrobatic Silky made it a tough time for our protagonists by gobbling up all three humans.

I've been saying this since the anime started, but the visual presentation is fantastic.
I'm not talking about the animation (which is fantastic), but how visual compliment the tone and atmosphere.

How do we defeat Acrobatic Silky?
As revealed in Dandadan episode 6, the trio managed to escape from Acrobatics Silky’s stomach by burning her own hair when she consumed by mistake. This sets up a showdown in episode 7.
Climactic and ending on a high, Dandadan episode 7 promises a delicious battle between Acrobatic Silky, whose powers and backstory we are yet to know of properly, and our four protagonists. Expect a thrilling and emotional showdown!
