Anime: Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun-Gale Online Season 2
ReoNa is a Japanese singer and cosplayer. She debuted recently by playing as the singer-voice actor for Elza Kanzaki in this series!
Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun-Gale Online Season 2 is set in a universe where players log in to a virtual reality universe named Gun-Gale. The series follows Karen Kohiruimaki who is short and shy in real life but turns out to be a potent character in the game, nicknamed the Pink Devil.
9. Boujaku no Charisma by UNISON SQUARE GARDEN
Anime: Blue Lock vs U20
Unison Square Garden is a Japanese pop-rock band and its members include Kosuke Saito, Tomoya Tabuchi, and Takao Suzuki. They have previously produced music for anime such as Yozakura Quartet, Soul Eater, Tiger and Bunny, Kekkei Sense, Sangatsu no Lion, and even another song for Blue Lock, to name a few!
Blue Lock vs U20 delves into the much-awaited showdown between the two sides – an experimental training program to produce Japan’s top strikers and the under-20 national team!
8. Chained by Tatsuya Kitani and Natori
Anime: Rurouni Kenshin – Kyoto Disturbance
Tatsuya Kitani is a Japanese songwriter, composer, singer, and bassist. Natori is a Japanese musician known for combining Japanese instruments with modern pop music sounds along with his vocals. His song “Overdose” gained more than 100M streams!
Rurouni Kenshin is about a former assassin who goes on a journey of self-discovery and redemption by becoming a wandering swordsman. Rurouni Kenshin – Kyoto Disturbance is an adaptation of the Kyoto Arc from the manga.
7. Reweave by Konomi Suzuki
Anime: Re:Zero Season 3
Konomi Suzuki is a singer affiliated with Sony Music and Kadokawa. She has previously produced songs for titles such as Love Flops, Spy Classroom, So I’m a Spider, So What, and Deep Sanity: The Lost Child.
Re:Zero is an isekai series revolving around Subaru who is transported to a fantasy world. He dies trying to save a half-elf named Emilia. Upon doing so, he discovers that he can return to life right after he dies, at the cost of great pain and having to retain his memories.
6. Jaka Jaan by Yukinojo Mori, Zedd, and C&K
Anime: Dragon Ball DAIMA
Yukinojo Mori is a Japanese lyricist, composer, and poet with over 2500 songs under his belt. He has composed songs for titles such as Dragon Ball and Kinnikuman. Zedd is a German music producer and a DJ. He won the Grammy for Best Dance Recording at the 56th Grammy Awards! C&K is a Japanese Pop duo – CLIEVY and KEEN. They have previously created popular numbers such as Bye Bye Boo and Heart Beat.
Dragon Ball DAIMA revolves around Goku and the Z Warriors who are tuned into children. This is because of Gomah, the new ruler of the Demon Realm who used the dragon balls to turn the X warriors into children due to them defeating Majin Buu. The story revolves around our protagonists having a new adventure in the demon realm to turn themselves back to normal and save the world!
5. Same Blue by Official HIGE Dandism
Anime: Bluebox
Official Hige Dandism is a Japanese pop-rock band and its members include Satoshi Fujihara, Daisuke Ozasa, Makoto Narazaki, and Masaki Matsuura. They have previously produced music for titles such as Spy X Family, Doraemon, and Tokyo Revengers!
Bluebox is a heartwarming sports anime. It focuses on Taiki Inomata, an average badminton player, and Chinatsu Kano, a top basketball player from Eimei Senior High. The story explores their life as they juggle friendship and their sporting ambitions.
4. Without Any Words by SIX LOUNGE
Anime: Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3
Six Lounge is a Japanese rock band and its current members include Yamaguchi Koumori, Iwao Riku, and Nagamatsu Shintaro. Their recent projects include creating music for My Hero Academia.
Bleach is set in a world where human souls are transported to Soul Society after a person’s death. This is facilitated by Shinigami, a class of fighters who are tasked with purifying impure souls called Hollows and also maintaining the balance between the Human World and Soul Society.
Part 3 of the Thousand Year Blood War arc revolves around a civil war between 2 races: Soul reapers of Shinigami and Quinces. The latter believed in exterminating impure human souls or hollows where as the former had a more lenient approach. Their differences led to a civil war 1000 years before the present time when the Quincies were systematically erased. With the return of Quincy King, Yhwach Bah’s power, another bloody war is underway where our portagonists led by the hybrid quincy-soul reaper Ichigo Kurosaki struggle to choose sides and save the world in the process.
3. Iinazukkyun by ano
Anime: Ranma 1/2 (2024)
Ano is a singer, model, actress, and TV host. She has written and performed songs for Chainsaw Man, Dead Dead Demons Dededede Destruction, and Oshi no Ko to name a few.
Ranma 1/2 revolves around Ranma Saotome who has a curse that constantly changes from male to female and vice versa. He is betrothed to Akane Tendo, a girl who is boisterous and Tom-boyish. The story is a romantic comedy and is considered an anime classic.
2. Kaijuu by Sakanaction
Anime: Orb: On the Movement of the Earth
Sakanaction is a Japanese rock band that focuses on alternative rock, electronic, pop, and other contemporary styles. They have produced massive hits such as Shin Takarajima and Wasurerarenaino.
Orb: On the Movement of the Earth is one of the most exciting titles to release in 2024. It is set in the 15th century when Rafael, a bright student enters university at a young age. His expected course of education in Theology led him to make discoveries such as – the earth revolves around the sun. Set in a period where religion is the final word, Rafael prioritizes logic and rationality.
1. Otonoke by Creepy Nuts
Anime: DAN DA DAN
Creepy Nuts, a Japanese hip-hop duo, consists of members R-Shitei and DJ Matsunaga. They rose to fame with them producing Bling Bang Bang Born for Mashle: Magic and Muscles. They have also created music for Call of the Night.
Dandadan needs no introduction but I’ll do it anyway. It’s set in a world where psychic powers, aliens and Yokai all exist at the same time. Our protagonists, a shy geek nicknamed Okarun and a kind extrovert Momo Ayase, discover themselves as they are embroiled in supernatural situations and, life and death duels while dealing with high school life!
