After the release of One Piece Chapter 1161, it was announced that there would be a one-week break before Chapter 1162’s release. Even though a few days are still left for the chapter’s official release, the spoilers have the chapter already been released. Soon after its release, the spoilers have been circulating the internet, and has raised several eyebrows.
Since the beginning of the God Valley incident, each chapter has featured some kind of revelation, and One Piece Chapter 1162 is also not an exception. Kuma and Ivankov were featured in the chapter, with the former healing the injured civilians. Apart from them, there were several characters who were featured in the chapter, with the same major revelations.
Rocks D. Xebec Saves Eris and Blackbeard
The sole reason Rocks D. Xebec went to God Valley was to save his family from being massacred at the hands of the Celestial Dragons. Rocks has done a lot of wrong things, but when it comes to his family, he is one of the most protective individuals. Rocks is one of the few individuals whose attacks are powerful enough to slow down the regeneration of the Holy Knights. While rescuing his family, Garling chases him, along with the Davy Clan members, who were turned into demons. Two of them are Rocks’ father and grandmother. With no other option, Rocks had to defeat them, which caused Garling to cough up blood and collapse.
After saving his family, he went to help them escape the island. However, before departing, Eris asked Rocks to rendezvous at Lulusia. Surprisingly, Lulusia is the island that was destroyed by Imu using the ancient weapon Uranus, which was powered up by the Mother Flame, almost 38 years after the God Valley Incident.
Monkey D. Garp Questions The Navy’s Integrity
Monkey D. Garp is one of the Vice-Admirals of the Navy, and went to God Valley to fight Gol D. Roger. However, after witnessing the inhuman appearance of Imu and so many civilian casualties, he became surprised and furious. At once, he called Sengoku and asked what was happening and what the meaning of it was. However, Sengoku’s response was more like a warning. He said that the last person who raised such a question disappeared from the Navy without anyone knowing about them.
Big Mom Never Gave Kaido His Devil Fruit
For long, it was known that it was Charlotte Linlin, popularly known as Big Mom, who gave Kaido the Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu. However, One Piece Chapter 1162 revealed that it was all a lie. After getting her hands on the Devil Fruit, she wanted her son, Katakuri, to have it. Unfortunately, Kaido ambushed her and snatched the Devil Fruit.
Kaido wasted no time in consuming and got its power. Even though Big Mom and Kaido portray a sibling rivalry, they were never on the same page. Also, it is pretty amazing to think about how powerful Katakuri would have been if he had consumed Kaido’s Devil Fruit.
Imu Enters The God Valley Battlefield
God Valley is the most important event in the history of One Piece, and one of the reasons is that most of the heavyweight characters came together at the same place and time. The latest chapter revealed that Imu also indirectly joined the battlefield by possessing Saint Jaygarcia Saturn in his demon form.
While witnessing the chaos, Saturn was secretly communicating with Imu, who later possessed the Elder. Only a black silhouette of the demon-form was shown, with only the eyes being visible. They transformed the Davy Clan members into demons, similar to how they possessed Gunko at Elbaf and transformed the giants into demons.
Rocks D. Xebec vs. Imu Finally Happening
With Imu entering the battlefield after possessing Saint Jaygarcia Saturn, things were looking wild. However, Imu found a worthy opponent in Rocks D. Xebec, who came to face the mysterious character after ensuring his family’s safety. When Whitebeard and Dragon-form Kaido came to his aid, Rocks said that fighting by his side wouldn’t be beneficial to them. However, the two pirates chose to stand by their captain’s side. The chapter ended with Rocks saying, “This is the world itself,” while looking at Imu.
