Blue Exorcist has revealed a new key visual and trailer for 4th season of their series titled “Blue Exorcist- Beyond the Snow Saga”. The Opening Theme of the upcoming series “RE RESCUE” by Reol has also been officially announced. The series is going to continue as a back-to-back cours with “Blue Exorcist- Beyond the Snow Saga”- in October 2024 and then “Blue Exorcist -The Blue Night Saga”- in January 2025 and will be available to stream on Crunchyroll.
Recently, Blue Exorcist held a special event at Anime Expo 2024 on July 5th featuring Nobuhiko Okamoto, the Japanese cast of Rin Okumura, to discuss the past, present, and future of the series, and the new game Alterna Vvelt -Blue Exorcist Another Story.
Blue Exorcist: Plot
The story is about Rin Okumura and his younger brother Yukio Okumura. They were raised by their foster father Shiro Fujimoto who is also an exorcist. One day, Rin finds out that he and Yukio are the sons of Satan. When Shiro dies protecting him, Rin uses a special sword called Kurikara to unlock his demonic powers which gives him blue fangs and tails of flames capable of burning anything it touches.
Rin decides to become an exorcist just like his late foster father Shiro. To become stronger and defeat Satan, he enrolls at the prestigious True Cross Academy which is the Japanese branch of the True Cross Order, an international organization dedicated to protecting the human world from demons and the demonic world. Thus begins Rin’s journey to become an exorcist.
