“Bocchi the Rock” has released a new trailer for its second anime recap theatrical film, BOCCHI THE ROCK! Re:Re: which will be released on August 9 in Japan. The first installment of the compilation film – BOCCHI THE ROCK! Re: released on June 7 and it was a huge box office success. The new trailer features “Seiza ni Naretara” (If I Could Become a Constellation) performed by the Kessoku band.

The audience will also receive a bonus manga by Aki Hamaji titled “BOCCHI THE ROCK! Epigraph 2” on a first-come, first-serve basis. The viewers will also receive one of the six illustration cards designed by anime character designer Kerorira during the first week of the film’s release.
To commemorate the release of the second part of the theatrical compilation, a stage greeting event with cast members Yoshino Aoyama, Sayumi Suzushiro, Saku Mizuno, and Ikumi Hasegawa organized at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku, and United Cinema Toyosu in Tokyo on 11th August. A stage greeting in Kansai will also be organized where Sayumi Suzushiro and Saku Mizuno will be on stage as a pair.
What is the story of “Bocchi The Rock”?
The story follows Hitori “Bocchi” Gotou, a shy and introverted middle school girl with no social skills. She practices guitar daily for 6 hours a day and uploads videos of her performances online in the hope of joining a rock band in her high school. She eventually joins “Kessoku Band,” on the invitation of Nijika Ijichi and begins to grow along with her bandmates.
‘Bocchi the Rock!’ is an original manga series by Aki Hamaji (Story & Art) published from December 19, 2017, to the present day in Houbunsha’s ‘Manga Time Kirara MAX’. The TV anime adaptation of the manga started airing from Oct 09, 2022,ย to Dec 25, 2022, and had 12 episodes.
