Solo Leveling Season 2: Arise from the Shadows has introduced several potent characters, each capable of causing massive destruction. While season 1 focused more on laying the foundation of the anime, season 2 outright focused on Sung Jinwoo going through multiple battles and leveling up faster than ever.
The protagonist has faced several foes until now, including the likes of Baruka, Kargalgan, and the Demon King Baran. However, his toughest battle is yet to come, and it will be against the Ant King. With only a couple more episodes left before Solo Leveling Season 2 ends, seeing how much Sung Jinwoo has leveled up during his upcoming fight will be exciting.
Sung Jinwoo’s Abilities
Sung Jinwoo has been the star of Solo Leveling season 2, having overcome every foe dominantly. In the process, he also obtained several strong shadow soldiers, including Kargalgan and Demon King Baran. Throughout seasons one and two, the protagonist has gained abilities like Shadow Extraction, Mutilation, Detoxification, Stealth, Ruler’s Authority, Dragon’s Fear, etc. Shadow Extraction was his first ability, which allowed him to extract the shadows of dead individuals and have absolute control over them.
One of his most unique abilities is Detoxification which makes him immune to poisons. Mutilation and Dragon’s Fear are mainly used by him against powerful foes to land multiple strikes and subdue them with his presence. Apart from all these, he has immense strength, durability, and speed, which has often shocked his fellow S-Rank Hunters. His most recent ability is Shadow Exchange, which allows him to exchange places with one of his Shadow Soldiers with a cool-down time of an hour.

Ant King’s Abilities
The Jeju Island Raid Mission had 16 S-Rank Hunters, with a majority of them from Japan. However, the Ant King killed more than half of them with a single blow. The Korean S-Rank Hunters were no match for him. He eliminated Min Byung-gu so that he could not heal others and ate him to develop the ability to speak and understand human speech. Like Sung Jinwoo, he possesses immeasurable strength, along with the ability of Size Manipulation, Healing Magic, Flight, Paralysis Poison, and Gluttony.
These abilities are quite significant during fights since he can practically change his size, heal himself, and paralyze others using poison. The Ant King increases his strength by consuming others, and with so many S-Rank Hunters falling at his feet, he has reached an unimaginable level. In the anime, he was last shown fighting Goto Ryuji, who was overwhelmed by his aura.
Sung Jinwoo vs Ant King Fight Prediction
Sung Jinwoo’s growth has been a treat to watch, with him unlocking new abilities and gaining new powerful shadow soldiers. On the other hand, the Ant King has been terrorizing everyone since hatching. Within a short span, it has established itself as a force to reckon with.
It is difficult to predict who will win the battle, but after carefully looking from every aspect, victory is slightly inclined towards the protagonist. His last battle was with a Monarch and he came out victorious, and it has been proven that he is much stronger than the Korean and Japanese S-Rank Hunters, possessing an army of Shadow Soldiers. However, the Ant King also has a few tricks up his sleeves and could make it difficult for the protagonist to snatch victory.
