It has been some time since Science SARU revealed that Dandadan Season 2 will be released during the Summer of 2025. Dandadan Season 2 was announced right after Season 1 concluded on December 20, 2024. Yukinobu Tatsu’s magnum opus became an instant hit, and the fandom eagerly awaited more details about season 2.
With only a couple of months left before Dandadan season 2 premieres, Science SARU released a Promotional Video of the upcoming season on April 26, 2025, which featured Evil Eye, Turbo Granny, Okarun, Momo, Jiji, new monsters, and Naki Kito of the Kito family.
First Look at Evil Eye’s Battle Against Turbo Granny
The Promotional Video initially began with the Evil Eye facing Turbo Granny. Evil Eye was using ki blasts, and Turbo Granny was dodging them and exchanging blows. Apart from the Evil Eye, the trailer also featured a mysterious-looking monster who turned his head 360 degrees and had weird large eyes. It also attacked Ken Takakura, Jiji, and Momo Ayase.
When Will Dan da dan Season 2 Premiere?
Dandadan Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 12:26 AM (JST). The episode will broadcast on 28 MBS/TBS affiliated stations during the “Super Animeism TURBO” slot. The “Super Animeism TURBO” refers to the time slot of Thursday nights or Friday mornings, and the slot has been running since March 2019. The anime will also be available to stream on Crunchyroll.

Which Manga Arcs Will Dan Da Dan Season 2 Cover?
Dandadan Season 1 concluded in the middle of the Cursed House arc. The Cursed House arc began in episode 11. In season 2, the first few episodes will focus on the arc, and then it will feature the Evil Eye arc, where the fight between Turbo Granny and the Evil Eye will take place. As of now, the Kaiju arc has also been listed to be a part of Dandadan Season 2. However, it is yet to be revealed whether season 2 will be able to cover each arc in its entirety.
