After the huge success of Dandadan Season 1, an announcement PV and key visual revealed that Season 2 will premiere in July 2025. Following this announcement, the first teaser PV of Dandadan season 2 just dropped revealing Evil Eye, the Kito family, and details about the anime staff.
Science SARU is handling the animation of season 2, with Fuuga Yamashiro, director of season 1, and Abel Gongora, a key animator for several episodes, taking charge of direction. The teaser PV introduces two new characters: Naki Kito of the Kito Family and a mysterious child peeking through wooden bars.

The teaser PV opens with Momo Ayase asking Turbo Granny about the cursed house, and Turbo Granny responds, “The house is soaked in too much human blood.” Scenes of a person tied to a wooden pole and a ritual performance, seem like a human sacrificial practice. The last few seconds of PV showcase Evil Eye possessing Jiji’s body.
Which Manga Arcs will the Dandadan Season 2 Cover?
Dandadan season 1 covered the Turbo Granny Arc, the Acrobatic Silky Arc, and the Serpo Arc. The finale of season 1 introduced us to the Cursed House Arc. Season 2 will continue from the Cursed House Arc and will go on to cover the Evil Eye Arc and the Kaiju Arc.

Who is Evil Eye in Dandadan?
Evil Eye is a yokai that was trapped for years in the Tsuchinoko sacrificial house. After taking over Jiji’s body, he aimed to kill all the humans he encountered. However, after developing a strange bond with Okarun, Evil Eye made a deal only to target Okarun, making it less of a danger to the rest of the group.
