The God Valley is the most anticipated event of One Piece. With Eiichiro Oda finally revealing what actually happened in God Valley, fans can barely control their excitement. One Piece Chapter 1162 featured Imu possessing Saint Jaygarcia Saturn and entering the war. However, Rocks D. Xebec, Whitebeard, and Kaido (Dragon Form) formed a team to stop him. One Piece Chapter 1163 is scheduled to release on October 26, 2025. A few days before its release, the spoilers to the chapter surfaced online, highlighting the beginning and end of the God Valley incident.
Roger Pirates vs. Rocks Pirates
The Roger Pirates went to God Valley to save Shakuyaku from getting exploited. Being one of the top pirate crews of that time, they caused chaos with their entry. After saving Shakuyaku, they clashed with the Rocks Pirates. Excluding the top brass members of the Rocks Pirates (Rocks, Whitebeard, Kaido, and Big Mom), all the other were plundering the island to look for treasures.
Even a fight broke out amongst themselves, with Captain John fighting Ganzui. Captain John used Jiki Jiki no Mi (which currently belongs to Eustass “Captain” Kid) to attract all the treasures. Due to its magnetic field, it also attracted the swords of the Roger Pirates. Watching Captain John’s antics, Ganzui attacked him with his Bomu Bomu no Mi. He shot a dried mucus towards John and blasted him with his move, “Sky Snake Red Cannon,” defeating him in the process.
Shanks Has Been Connected To The Plot
It was a lingering question of how Eiichiro Oda would connect the dots with the Roger Pirates finding Shanks in a chest, if Monkey D. Dragon ran with him. One Piece Chapter 1163 reveals the entire scenario of how Shanks ended up in the chest. When Captain John used the Jiki Jiki no Mi, he also attracted Dragon’s weapon. It caused him to fall on the ground with Shanks. While he was on the ground, Shanks crawled into a nearby chest and stayed there. Thus, fulfilling Shanks’ story.
Monkey D. Garp Switches Sides
After Saturn-possessed Imu sent waves of Conqueror’s Haki throughout the island, injuring pirates and marines alike, Garp could not believe it. He was taken aback by the top authority of the World Government. While the soldiers tried to calm down Garp, he was hell-bent on going against Imu and called him a “vermin.” With it, Monkey D. Garp is ready to put his position on the line and stand against Imu.
The Ultimate Showdown Begins
One Piece Chapter 1163 is titled “Promise,” and likewise, Eiichiro Oda fulfilled the expectations with a major showdown at the God Valley. The last chapter revealed Rocks D. Xebec, Whitebeard, and Kaido fighting against Saturn-possessed Imu. The current chapter features Big Mom joining them, making the team stronger. Imu called Rocks, Davy Jones, and the pirate replied that they were mistaken.

Rocks added, “But I do agree that what is “Promised” must be fulfilled!!”. He mockingly told Imu that they are the “King of Rats.” Soon, they are joined by Gol D. Roger and Monkey D. Garp. The six individuals launched their attacks on Saturn-possessed Imu. Rocks used Pandemonium, Whitebeard used Hakua, Kaido used Bolo Breath, Big Mom used Ikkoku Sovereignty, Roger used Divine Departure, and Garp used Galaxy Impact. While it landed on Imu, thanks to their god-like powers, they recover. Rocks kept on fighting, but the chapter concludes with Imu using Domi Reversi on Rocks D. Xebec. He pierces him with two black tentacles and orders him to annihilate his family. Everyone is shocked to see Rocks being transformed into a demon.
What Does The Future Of God Valley Holds?
The God Valley incident has taken an exciting turn with the current chapter. For long, it was known that Roger and Garp formed an alliance in God Valley to take down Rocks D. Xebec. There was speculation that it would be a direct confrontation, and the two would have a hard time taking the iconic pirate down. However, One Piece Chapter 1163 has shaped it to be something else.
Imu using Domi Reversi on Rocks and ordering him to kill his family likely shows that Rocks is no longer a human and has been turned into a demon. It might be that Whitebeard, Kaido, and Big Mom are trying to stop him from harming his family, but are gravely injured in the process. With no other choice, Roger and Garp will shift their focus to Rocks from Imu. The three would clash in an epic battle. The fight would end with Roger and Garp being victorious, and stopping Rocks’ rampage by killing him.
In that process, Monkey D. Garp came to be known as the “Hero of the Marines.”While people think that Garp does not like to talk about the incident because he teamed up with Gol D. Roger, it was actually the horrifying incident caused by the terrifying Imu that made him shut his mouth. However, it is still a speculation, and until further confirmation, nothing can be said for sure.
