Kagurabachi chapter 74 was released on April 6, 2025, and the fans finally got to experience the moment they had been waiting for. After so many chapters, Iori Samura finally got to see her father, Seiichi Samura. Currently, the Sword Bearer Assassination arc has been ongoing, and with each chapter, some new revelations are taking place, making each one better than the last.

After, Hiruhiko annihilates Sengoku, Iori shocked the fandom by unleashing her true powers for the first time in chapter 69. While Takeru Hokazono shifted his focus to the past to make the present feel more informative. However, after completing the flashback featuring Iori and Seiichi, chapter 74 shifted its focus to the present, with Chihiro fighting Hiruhiko and Iori imitating his father to defeat all the enemies. With much perseverance, she broke the seal and got to see her father.

Seiichi Samura Finally Arrives

In the last few panels of Kagurabachi chapter 74, Iori Samura remembers the time when she was living with her father. Even though times were hard, she never wanted to be a burden to him. Unfortunately, some events occurred, and memories of her father were sealed, and she led a separate life until the Hishaku came after her. After she completely breaks the seal, Iori finally bursts out and says, โ€œEven if itโ€™s just for one moment, I want to see my father!โ€

Chihiro and Hiruhiko draw their sword, and out of nowhere, Seiichi Samura arrives, drawing his blade Tobimune. It was after years that Iori got to see her father, and it emotionally moved her.

Why Did Seiichi Samura Get Separated From His Daughter?

After Seiichi Samuraโ€™s wife died, he took care of Iori. They had a great time accompanying each other, but when she started to attend school, students made fun of Iori by calling her father a mass murderer, as they were made aware of the past events. The Hishaku had distributed leaflets to expose the truth about the Swordsmaster and how Kamunabi tried to cover it up.

Iori put up with all the bullying and used to lie to her father saying how everyone praised her for being his daughter. But with time, Seiichi learned everything and started to repent for making his daughterโ€™s life worse than it already was. Also, it was around that time when the Hishaku tried to hunt down the Heroes and prevent the Malediction from happening.

So, with no other option, Seiichi left Iori at her auntโ€™s house and asked his colleagues to seal her memories. Even though it hurt him and his daughter, it was the best thing a father could do for his daughter’s safety at that time. Taking her away also meant the Hishaku would not be able to use her as leverage. But as fate would have it, the duo finally reunited, and Kagurabachi chapter 75 will showcase it fully.
