Jump Festa 2025 Blue Stage Anime and Manga Announcements

The announcements at Jump Festa 2025 set the mood for upcoming anime and manga releases. Held at Makuhari Messe Convention Center, the most prominent shonen manga and anime convention concluded on December 22, 2024. Shueisha organized multiple panels across four stages: Red, Blue, Jump Studio, and the Shonen Jump+ 10th anniversary stage.

Jump Festa 2025 Super Stage BLUE Lineup & Announcements

The Blue stage of Jump Festa 2025 showcased panels from popular series, including Demon Slayer, Witch Watch, Sakamoto Days, Gintama, Dandadan, Bleach, Haikyu!!, Blue Box, World Trigger, and Mission: Yozakura Family.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

Natsuki Hanae (CV. Tanjiro), Hiro Shimono (CV. Zenitsu), and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (CV. Inosuke) appeared on the Demon Slayer panel. No major update regarding the anime was shared, but the previously announced premiere of the first movie in the Demon Slayer Trilogy (Mugen Castle) in 2025.

Character visuals of Muzan, Tanjiro, and Nezuko from the Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc stage drama were revealed.

Witch Watch

Kenta Shinohara’s Witch Watch anime adaptation received its first PV. It will air in April 2025 on MBS/TBS’ 5 pm Sunday slot for two consecutive cours. Additionally, new cast members of the anime were announced, including

• Kara Minami, voiced by Rie Takahashi
• Kukumi Ureshino, voiced by Konomi Kohara

Yuto Suzuki’s hit Shonen Jump series Sakamoto Days received a second main PV featuring the ending theme song, FUTSUU, by Conton Candy. The broadcast of the series will start on January 11, 2025. Moreover, additional cast members were announced, including

Gintama’s new spin-off anime series, 3-Z Ginpachi Sensei, gets a new PV. The series will be broadcast in October 2025.

Dandadan

Dandadan revealed a new teaser PV for the second season, which will be broadcast in July 2025. It will continue the Cursed House Arc and possibly adapt the Evil Eye and Kaiju Arc.

Bleach

Bleach is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Thousand Year Blood War Part 3—The Conflict, revealed preview images from its one-hour special finale episode, set to air on December 28, 2024. A five-minute 46-second recap video covering episodes 25 to 38 was also shared.

Haikyu!!

Voice actors Ayumu Murase (CV. Shoyo Hinata), Kaito Ishikawa (CV. Tobio Kageyama), and Yuki Kaji (CV. Kenma Kozume) appeared on the Haikyu!! panel and discussed about the recently released hit movie, Dumpster battle. A new event, Haikyu!! Fan Park, was announced, which will be held at Makuhari Messe exhibition hall on June 7 and June 8, 2025.

Blue Box

The Fall 2024 sports rom-com anime Blue Box received a new teaser visual and trailer for its second cour, which will premiere on January 2, 2025. The opening theme song, Saraba, by Macaroni Empitsu, and the ending theme song, Contrast, by TOMOO, featured in the latest PV. Additionally, Kana Ichinose is chosen to voice the character of Ayame Moriya.

Voice actors Kaji Yuki (CV. Osamu Mikumo), Tomo Muranaka (CV. Yuma Kuga), Nao Tamura (CV. Chika Amatori), and Megumi Han (CV. Yoko Katori) appeared on the World Trigger panel and they did a reading session.

Mission: Yozakura Family

A new teaser visual for the second season of Mission: Yozakura Family was revealed. It features Taiyo and the Yozakura siblings. The second season is scheduled to be broadcast in 2026.
