Kagurabachi chapter 69 ends on a high note with Iori Samura awakening her locked memories and unlocking the sword skills that were passed down by her father, Seiichi Samura. Kagurabachi Chapter 70 spoilers revealed that Chihiro and Hiruhiko are eager to reach the rooftop of the Kyoto Bloodshed Hotel, even though their purposes are different. While the former is trying his best to stop Hiruhiko in his tracks, he is still focused on mastering the Iai White Purity Style. With that thought, the panel cuts to Itsuo Shirakai, the founder of the Iai White Purity Style.
His philosophy was revealed, which believed speed to be the penultimate form of strength. Shirakai’s idea was to utilize full velocity while maintaining maximum propulsion. Unlike the traditional stances, the sword had to be rotated mid-strike to after it was drawn. People who criticized his idea were left stunned once he mastered the technique.
To date, only three people have mastered the technique since it requires immense training and mastery over spirit energy. A past conversation between Chihiro and Rou revealed that the latter thought that maintaining a stable form of spirit energy is tough, but maintaining it through complex movements was next to impossible. The slightest distraction can result in something different.
Chihiro Is Surprised By Hiruhiko’s Skills
Hiruhiko had his first kill when he was three years old. As a way of self-defense, be bit an adult to death. It changed his view on life and combat. Instead of focusing on traditional methods to manipulate spirit energy, he relies on his survival instincts to adapt to any situation while fighting freely.

While they ascend, Hiruhiko revealed that mimicking the Iai White Purity Style was simply a means to distract Chihiro. However, he regrets not cutting off one of Chihiro’s limbs since the antagonist believes in speed being the ultimate decider in a battle.
The Climax of Kagurabachi Chapter 70
The climax of Kagurabachi chapter 70 featured the two swordsman witness Iori Samura’s swordsmanship. Chihiro instantly gains back his confidence after watching Seiichi Samura’s sword skills through Iori Samura. He understood how to use the Iai White Purity Style, master it, and defeat Hiruhiko.
