Kagurabachi Chapter 77 featured a decisive conclusion to the battle between Seiichi Samura and Hiruhiko, with the latter suffering a crushing defeat. Hiruhiko used every trick under his sleeve and even exceeded expectations, but it was still not enough to defeat one of the Heroes of the Seitei War. Kagurabachi Chapter 78 begins with a bloodied Hiruhiko sitting while Seiichi is approaching to land the final blow.
The Hishaku member has exhausted all of his energy and is unable to move, even though death is slowly crawling up on him. The protagonist, Chihiro Rokuhira, is also amazed at how powerful the Enchanted Blade user is. However, Hiruhiko is saved by Kuguri and Toto. The chapter also revealed that Hishaku is targeting the Kamunabi Headquarters next, located in Tokyo.
Kuguri And Totoโs Efforts Saved Hiruhiko From Kicking The Bucket
Seiichi was ready to end Hiruhiko once and for all, but Kuguri came out of nowhere. He entered by breaking one of the walls and caught Seiichi off guard. Since Kuguri had practiced with his sword for several months, he became quite accustomed to using it. Kuguri’s heat blast helped the Hishaku rescue their kin from death.
Kuguri took Hiruhiko to Toto, but unfortunately, he failed to locate his severed arm. With no time to waste, Toto escapes with them. They were shocked to see Seiichi Samuraโs powers as it changed the weather to make it snow. Hiruhiko was completely broken at his devastating loss and mentioned that the swordmaster did not even have hatred in his eyes. It made them demoralized, but they kept their faith in Yura, who was in Tokyo.

Hishaku Infiltrates The Kamunabi HQ
The leader of Hishaku, Yura, is seen around Kamunabi HQ, and as soon as his presence was felt, a bell was rung to notify the members. Soon, a battle broke out, with Azami also joining it. A barrier was also set up, and there were multiple Kamunabi higher-ups, with the non-combatants taking shelter at lower levels. One of the characters, Hakuri, was going under some kind of treatment. The chapter concluded with speculating on two showdowns, Kamunabi vs. Hishaku, and Chihiro vs. Seiichi Samura.
