Kagurabachi Chapter 79 was released on May 18, 2025. Unlike the last few chapters, it was a bit slow-paced even though the stakes were high with the Hishaku infiltrating the Kamunabi Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. With the officials taking shelter underground, the Hishaku sorcerers found it strange that there was no resistance towards them. But their joy was soon interrupted by the entry of Soshiro Azami, known as the Executioner.
He soon figured out that out of the three infiltrators, one of them was from the Hishaku with the symbol of the faction tattooed on his right hand. The other two were the Shigyu Brothers, who came from an ordinary family but were powerful enough to murder 11 Kamunabi members. However, Takeru Hokazono kept the best for last. The last panel revealed the second Hishaku sorcerer who took part in Rokuhira Kunishige’s murder.
Another Hishaku Behind Rokuhira Kunishige’s Murder Gets Revealed
It has been revealed that there were Hishaku members who murdered Rokuhira Kunishige. Out of them, only one was revealed. He was known as the “Hishaku Sorcerer” and was the main antagonist of the Sword Bearer Assassination arc. He is one of the strongest characters in the manga, with the ability to use flame-based teleportation. During the Sword Bearer Assassination arc, the antagonist had a duel with Seiichi Samura.
He used the Pine Tree Sorcery to bring forth several branches of Pine Trees with different lengths and breadths and destroyed a temple, forcing Samura to fight him. Even though Seiichi Samura is an Enchanted Blade user, the “Hishaku Sorcerer” remained unfazed and saw through his technique of identifying individuals with their hostile intent. He battled the Enchanted Blade user until Hishaku’s motive was fulfilled and then fled. For several chapters, the “Hishaku Sorcerer” was the only one featured in the manga.
However, Kagurabachi chapter 79 revealed the second one out of the three murderers. Even though no name was revealed, he wore a samurai helmet, and his left arm had some armor. He had a large mustache and black attire, with full sleeves on the left and sleeveless on the right. At a glance, Soshiro Azami figured he was no ordinary fighter and was in a different league from the Shigyu Brothers.
Who The Third Person Responsible For Rokuhira Kunishige’s Death?
As of Kagurabachi chapter 79, no major details of the third Hishaku member behind the murder of Chihiro Rokuhira’s father have been revealed. However, unlike the other two, the third one is a female and has her hair tied with ribbons. All the Hishaku members are unimaginably powerful, and the same goes for the woman with hair ribbons.
As for the current situation, fans are yet to experience the true extent of the second person’s abilities. Soshiro Azami easily defeated one of the Shigyu Brothers, and the next might also go down easily. The real challenge is facing the Hishaku sorcerer. The battle is likely to be featured in the upcoming chapters, and it will be exciting to see how it goes.
