What is the Story of The Lord of the Rings: The War of The Rohirrim Anime Film?
Set 183 years before the events of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, this film tells the tale of the house of Helm Hammerhand, the legendary King of Rohan. With his kingdom being invaded by Wulf, a ruthless Dunlending lord hell-bent on seeking vengeance for the death of his father, Helm and his people make a defiant last stand at a fortress which would later be called Helm’s Deep. His daughter, Hera must finally summon the will to lead the resistance against a vicious enemy.

The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim is an original anime feature by New Line Cinema, produced by Warner Bros. Animation and Sola Entertainment Production.
The film will be distributed theatrically worldwide beginning 11th December 2024 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
