Meet Death Row Prisoners in Sakamoto Days

Sakamoto Days revolve around assassins, murders, betrayals, and intense gore. With the latest episode, the anime officially entered the Death Row Prisoners arc, which saw the debut of Minimalist, Dump, Apart, and Saw. While their names may seem unusual, they reflect their distinct personalities and methods. They are all serial killers who take great pride and pleasure in causing misery to others.

The death row prisoners practice unique methods of killing, and their growing number of kills reflects their effectiveness. X/Slur helps them get out of prison and hires them to assassinate Taro Sakamoto and his friends, who pose a threat to his plan.

1. Minimalist

• Kills – 370+

Minimalist is the most fearsome death row prisoner in Sakamoto Days, with more than 370+ kills to his name. He is a towering figure with dark skin, blue eyes, and dreadlocks. His signature style of killing people is by crushing them with his bare hands and turning them into a small and round lump of meat.

2. Apart

• Kills – 206

Apart has the second most kills amidst the list of death row prisoners. He is an introvert and has long hair covering his eyes. He uses a wire to kill people by binding them with it and pulling the strikes to cut them into pieces. Out of all the death row prisoners, Apart seems to be the most reasonable guy.

3. Dump

• Kills – 180

Dump is the only female serial killer among the death row prisoners. She is a psychopath who is obsessed with love and believes that people become cutest when they are about to die. Since childhood, she has had this obsession and ended up killing several people, with her pet cat being the first.

4. Saw

• Kills – 64

Saw is a former soldier turned serial killer and the only one on the list who finds joy in other things apart from killing. He uses a wood-handle axe tied to a rope and often uses it as a ranged weapon. While the other death row prisoners went on a killing spree after gaining their freedom, Saw remained relaxed because of his laid-back nature.
