AnimeJapan 2025 Day 1 was a massive success, with tons of announcements for anime enthusiasts. However, as per the schedule, Day 2 promised even more excitement – and it delivered. After going through the lineup, everyone’s expectations for 2025 have skyrocketed, with the year set to bring a wide range of anime across every genre. Here are the major announcements and highlights of AnimeJapan 2025 Day 2.
RED Stage
1. Jujutsu Kaisen

Junya Enoki, Yuichi Nakamura, Takahiro Sakurai, and Anna Nagase attended the Jujutsu Kaisen event. A new trailer for Jujutsu Kaisen Premature Death Arc compilation movie was released featuring the acoustic version of โWhere Our Blue Isโ by Tatsuya Kitani. The movie is scheduled to be released on May 30, 2025.
2. Fate Strange/Fake

During Fate Strange/Fakeโs special stage panel, Kana Hanazawa, Yuki Ono, Tomokazu Seki, Yu Kobayashi, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka were present on the stage. Along with character visuals, it was revealed that Gakuto Kajiwara will join the cast as Sigma.
3. Apothecary Diaries

Aoi Yuki (Maomao), Takeo Otsuka (Jinshi), Katsuyuki Konishi (Gaojun), Kenji Akabane (Lihaku), and Tatsumaru Tachibana (Basen) attended the event and talked about the story so far.
4. Re:Zero โ Starting Life in Another World

GREEN Stage

The Saitama Super Arena will host the Animelo Summer Live 2025 (anime song event) from August 29 to 31, with Masayoshi Oishi, Masami Okui, and PoppinโPartyโs Aimi and Ayaka Ohashi invited to kick off the show. AnimeJapan 2025 revealed the trailer featuring the artists who will perform at the event.
2. Miss Kobayashiโs Dragon Maid

Fumihiko Tachiki as Kimun Kamui and Nobunaga Shimazaki as Azad has joined the cast of Miss Kobayashiโs Dragon Maid. The event featured the release of a new key visual ahead of the anime movieโs release.

During the event, cast members of The Shiunji Family Children took the stage and talked about the upcoming anime.
