A new manga, “No\Name”, by Rafal Jaki (executive producer, showrunner, and creator of the Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime) and artist Machine Gamu is getting a launch. This manga will be available on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website from July 31. Jaki has also confirmed that the manga will be published in English on Shueisha’s MANGA Plus website and its app.
What No\Name Manga is about?
“No\Name” is about the magical power of names in a world where a mysterious government agency assigns special abilities to people based on their names.
Jaki first released a one-shot version of No\Name on Shonen Jump+ and MANGA Plus on January 26. Although No\Name was released online earlier this year, it will now be serialized in Shonen Jump, with both English and Japanese versions available on the manga reading app from July 31st.

The one-shot story as described by MangaPlus:
No\Name is a Dark Action Mystery set in Northern Europe where supernatural powers are attributed through a person’s name, given to everyone by the government. A man fighting with wolf companions & a werebear girl investigate a missing child’s case for the government-run Naming Agency.
Earlier, the manga series won the MANGA Plus Creators’ first-ever Gold Award, a cash prize (approx. US$6,800), and the manga serialized on MANGA Plus and Jump+. Shueisha and MediBang launched the awards in August 2022. The Gold Award is given to truly exceptional works. This was also the first time any manga has won it since the award was introduced in September 2022.
