On the 15th anniversary event of Steins;Gate, a teaser trailer was screened at the event revealing the announcement of Steins;Gate RE:BOOT game by MAGES and Nitroplus. With games like DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO and Solo Leveling: Arise on the roll, this fan-favorite will be released next year.

What We Know About the Steins;Gate RE:BOOT So Far?
Rather than having a subplot, the Steins;Gate RE:BOOT is set to follow the visual novel game. It is essentially the plot of the 2009 videogame remade with modern themes, improved animation, and amplifying the strengths of the original.
Steins;Gate RE:BOOT is scheduled to release in 2025. Stemming from the original TV show, Nitroplus’ classic has been adapted into several mediums like ONA, Movies, and Specials. The upcoming revamp is a special project announced for the show’s 15th anniversary and fans are excited to witness it.
Origins of Steins;Gate’s RE:BOOT Visual Novel Game
Released in 2009, Steins;Gate’s founders 5pb. and Nitroplus are the developers of the visual novel game, about Rintarou Okabe and his friends’ attempt to change the past due to unforeseen circumstances. With its first release on Xbox 360 in Japan, the game eventually made it to all consoles including PSP and PSVita. Succeeding Chaos;Head, Steins;Gate is the second game in The Science Adventure Series.
MAGES
Currently known as MAGES, 5pb. is a game developer who is of Japanese Origin. Aside from Steins;Gate, they are responsible for the creation of the infamous Corpse Party among other games. Projects like Chaos;Child and Phantom Breaker are also part of successful games on thier portfolio.
Nitroplus
Other than assisting for the creation of Steins;Gate, Nitroplus has developed an array of games that have made an impact in Japan. Projects like Guilty Crown: Lost Christmas, Phantom of Inferno and Saya no Uta to name a few.

What is Steins;Gate About?
With a dream of wanting to explore new scientific innovations, mad scientist Rintarou Okabe, alongside his friends team up to create a new invention. Through days of hard work, the only contraption they managed to construct was a microwave that had the power to turn bananas into slime. As doltish as the function is, the device appears quite ambiguous throughout the show.
They later realize that the microwave allows them to transmit texts through their mobile phones that are communicated from different timelines. Embarking on a different journey with his new invention, Okabe is now a target of the litigious organization SERN.
Rintarou Okabe and his team’s lives are now jeopardized. Despite several attempts, they find themselves in alarming situations. It is now the mad scientist’s job to fix everything that his invention broke, save the people around him, and protect his sanity.
