One Piece Chapter 1150 has just been released, and with it, the Elbaf arc has taken a new turn. It was predictable from the last few chapters that a war was imminent, but the twist in the last chapter might have made victory for the Straw Hats more difficult than they initially imagined. It was revealed that Gunko was possessed by Imu-sama, with the body going through a demonic transformation. Fans were treated to Imu-sama’s Conqueror’s Haki with multiple giants getting knocked out.
The latest chapter featured Imu possessing Gunko doing the impossible and succeeding. Imu-sama possesses an ability named “Domi Reversi” that allows them to bring out the opposite of one’s personality and draw out evil. They used it on Broggy and Dorry to turn them on their homeland, and target Chief Jarul
The Giants Have Switched Sides!
Thanks to Imu possessing Gunko, Elbaf is on the verge of collapse. When Broggy tried to put an end to her misdeeds, not knowing it was Imu, he had his wrist severed. Writhing in agony, Imu sama said something about becoming a demon for a little sacrifice and ruling Elbaf as one of the World Government and Holy Knights. Soon, the pentagram appeared and absorbed Broggy. After a few moments, he returned with a demonic look and had wings. It was revealed that Dorry also underwent the same transformation along with a few other giants because of the Domi Reversi technique.
The ability makes the person come under a slave contract with Imu-sama, with the latter possessing the ability to end his/her life in an instant, just like he did with Saint Jaygarcia Saturn. Also, Imu possessed Gunko has a book, which is believed to have all the spells that the final antagonist of One Piece possesses. The transformed giants have forgone their past selves and follow Imu’s orders. Possessing the same immortality and regenerative abilities as the Gorosei and Holy Knights, the demon giants charged to kill Chief Jarul. Since he is their current leader, killing them will ensure that Dorry and Broggy rule the country without any resistance.
They were accompanied by creatures that the children of Elbaf feared the most. Saint Killingham used his Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model Kirin’s ability to put the children to sleep and manifest into their dreams to bring out those creatures they feared. Since they are not alive, they cannot be killed and will be there as long as Killingham is there.

Is This The End Of Elbaf?
One Piece Chapter 1150 concluded with the demon giants and the nightmare creatures charging towards the remaining giants to take over. While Jinbe, Nico Robin, Usopp, Nami, and Brook are present at the scene, they are currently waiting for the Monster Trio to arrive. It is fair to say that the Holy Knights have the upper hand, and they might fulfill their motive of bringing Elbaf under their control. With Gunko still under Imu-sama’s possession, the danger has not been averted yet. The final antagonist has several tricks up their sleeves, and the upcoming chapters might showcase more of their abilities.
However, there is still time for a miracle. Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji are currently in the underworld with Hajrudin’s crew and Loki. If the latter decides to defend Elbaf, it could be a massive boost to the heroes. Also, it looked like Gaban fell into the underworld. While there is not much time for proper training, he might give some valuable insights to Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji on how to counter the immortality factor of the Holy Knights. Several things can happen, but until some proper revelations or new abilities get unlocked, victory for the Holy Knights seems imminent.
