One Piece Anime Will No Longer Release Weekly
As per the official site of One Piece, it has been announced that the anime will no longer follow a weekly episode release format. To better explore the essence of the One Piece world and present a more focused telling of the story, the One Piece TV anime is adopting a new production approach, adapting one manga chapter into one anime episode. The series will air up to 26 episodes in 2026. The anime will be on a hiatus for the first three months of 2026 and will return in April 2026.

Elbaf Arc Announced In One Piece
The Egghead arc is ongoing and scheduled to conclude by the end of 2025. According to the announcement, the Elbaf arc will start from April 2026. While the tentative release date has not been revealed, it is believed that the anime will premiere in the first week. Also, the character designs for the Straw Hat Pirates during the Elbaf arc have been released. It will be years after that that fans will get to experience the Giants again, that too in their territory.
