Re: Zero Season 3 Episode 16 saw the conclusion of the Battle of Priestella, with all the towers recovered from the foes. The last episode featured Otto Suwen, Beatrice, and Felt defeating Lye Batenkaitos, only to be rescued by his sister, Rui Arneb. However, the heroes also managed to capture Sirius Romanee Conti.
With season 3’s conclusion and a positive response from the fans worldwide, the producers did not waste time announcing Re:Zero Season 4. Within moments after the finale was broadcast, it was announced that Natsuki Subari and Emilia would return in season 4, which is currently under production. A teaser PV and a key visual featuring Subaru, Emilia, Julius, Rem, Ram, Anastasia, and Beatrice have been released.
Re:Zero Season 4 In Production
Soon after the premiere of Re: Zero Season 3 Finale, Kadokawa Anime’s official YouTube channel released a 1-minute Promotional Video featuring Natsuki Subaru and Emilia coming to a new destination. They arrive at an old Western-style bar in the middle of a desert, wearing a hood. They removed the hood and conversed with the bartender. Through the Promotional Video, it has been confirmed that Re: Zero Season 4 is happening.
However, no official release date has been provided. With Season 3 released after 3 years of Season 2’s conclusion, Season 4 might take some time before it begins airing. Currently, the anime is still under production, and the only information revealed is that Subaru and his friends embark on a new journey after the Battle of Priestella. For further news, the fans need to wait patiently.
What To Expect From Re:Zero Season 4?
With the battle of the Watergate City of Priestella’s conclusion, Arc 5 of Re: Zero came to an end. Arc 6, The Corridor of Memories, is scheduled to commence from season 4. Subaru and his friend will journey to Pleiades Watchtower to learn how to undo the wrongdoing of the Battle of Priestella. Upon reaching, they meet Shaula, who tells them to gain the knowledge they seek, the group needs to give Trials on certain floors. When the group gets in the process of giving Trials, new and old enemies emerge.
