Saitama last showcased his incredible powers in 2019, when One Punch Man season 2 aired. With the manga continuing steadily, fans thought that they would soon see season 3โ€™s announcement. However, it took the officials 6 years to officially announce One Punch Man season 3. A small teaser and key visuals were released to commemorate the upcoming season, showcasing the top heroes of the Hero Association.

One Punch Man season 3 is scheduled to release in October 2025. The exact date and the streaming platforms are yet to be announced. With the last two seasons having 12 episodes, season 3 is also expected to follow the same pattern.

Two Strongest Associations Will Come Face To Face

It has been six years since One Punch Man season 2 concluded, with Garou getting crushed and finally stopping his rampage of hunting heroes. While Saitama was the unrecognized MVP of the final fight of season 2, the battle is far from over. Garou is taken in by the Monster Association and wakes up in their hideout.

The description from the One Punch Man season 3 teaser clearly indicated that the upcoming season will feature Hero Association vs. Monster Association to its full extent. While the teaser mainly featured the heroes, it was understandable that the strongest S-Class heroes donโ€™t reunite for anything. With so many strong heroes around, the fans are still rooting for โ€œCaped Baldy.โ€

One Punch Man Season 1 and 2 Recap

One Punch Man season 1 was released in October 2025 and set the foundation of the series. Fans were introduced to Saitama, the human with unparalleled strength, and Genos, a cyborg. The latter became the formerโ€™s disciple, and jointly, they took the hero exam. Unfortunately, Saitama became a C-Rank Hero, while Genos was placed among the S-Ranks due to the former’s poor written scores. People experience Saitama face several powerful foes like Deep Sea King, Meteor Crisis, and House of Evolution.

He defeated all of them but could not gain the popularity he wished for, much to his dissatisfaction. At the end of the season, a powerful alien named Lord Boros arrives on Earth in pursuit of a worthy opponent. He faced Saitama, who punched him several times, only for the alien to regenerate. However, in the end, Saitama used his Serious Punch to obliterate him completely. Even though he defeated a powerful alien, the protagonist remained unsatisfied.

His incredible resilience and martial arts skills helped him reach great heights despite multiple defeats.
