The Beginning After the End Synopsis

King Gray is the most powerful and ruthless king ever and possesses everything starting from power and wealth to fame. However, the only thing he lacks is a trusted companion since he trusts no one. As fate would have it, he died and was reincarnated as an infant named Arthur Leywin, losing all his powers. Arthur was born in a magical world and has a loving family. He experienced love, trust, and companionship for the first time, but when his family was attacked by bandits, he decided to pursue power to protect them.

The Beginning After the End Could Become A Massive Franchise In The Future

The Beginning After the End may seem like any other fantasy reincarnation anime in the beginning, but it is much more than that. The plot explores vast fields, including magic, companionship, emotional baggage, etc. Arthur Leywin retains his memories from his past life and remembers how formidable he was. However, now that he is an infant, he has to start from zero. He has to face several hardships since there is barely anything an infant can do, and he experiences love for the first time. Things start to change for him as he gets more determined and engrossed in the magical world. He learns magic and, with it decides to protect his close ones. It’s a great story, and the narrative does not let it down.

The characters are also worth watching and the best part is that it does not solely focus on the main character. The Beginning After the End light novel has more than 150 million reads, which only adds to its resume. Also, the anime watchers will have a change of taste from watching all the overpowered Shonen plots, and enjoy a proper developing story progressing by covering every aspect in detail. However, there is always a margin for error. It will now depend on the anime whether it lives up to the light novel’s hype or fails to leave a mark.
