The highly anticipated Solo Leveling Season 2 trailer has finally dropped, sparking excitement throughout the anime community (as if Jinwoo himself used the shadow army spell on the fans). Released at the Anime Expo on July 6, 2024, the new trailer reveals the upcoming season’s title: โArise from the Shadow.โ

The trailer treats viewers to intense scenes of Jinwoo Sung battling the formidable Ice Elves in the Red Gate! And he is making the shadow army fight for him, showcasing his new ability. As Jinwooโs character evolves, fans can look forward to witnessing his rise to unprecedented power levels, promising an action-packed continuation of his journey.

In case you need a catch-up, Season 1 of Solo Leveling showed Jinwoo Sung’s journey, from being the E rank hunter to becoming a formidable force capable of navigating dungeons solo. After a life-threatening encounter in a D-ranked dungeon, he unlocked a power that propelled him toward enhancing his abilities.
Throughout the season Jinwoo dedicated himself to training overcoming challenging dungeons and surpassing all expectations. The season wrapped up with Jinwoo completing his Job Change arc, where he unexpectedly acquired the necromancer class instead of the anticipated assassin role. This newfound skill enabled him to summon and control defeated foes as his soldiers showcased his acumen.
The season concluded with a hint, at the Red Gate arc โ an event where hunters delve into an enigmatic dungeon that materializes out of nowhere setting the stage for Season 2.
