Dandadan Episode 8 Recap

Episode 8 begins with the group sitting together at the dining table in Momo Ayase’s home. Aira accuses Momo of being a devil and guiding Ken “Okarun” Takakura. Before leaving, Aira confronts Okarun, asking him why he is trying to save her even though he is a demon.

Okarun stated that he didn’t require any justification; he provided help to those who needed it. This response calmed Aira for the time being because she was actually fully understanding her feelings towards Okarun.

Coming to terms with her feelings, Aira opened up about her feelings for Okarun, in her usual silly manner. She considered their love, as one between a human and a demon, forbidden. She insisted on him kissing her. In the middle of a new exercise regime, Okarun argues with Aira eventually falling on top of her. Momo’s anger flared when she saw Okarun with Aira, believing he had betrayed her and was playing with her feelings.

With the teenage romantic shenanigans underway, the trio is soon ambushed by aliens. Ayase survives an attack by a dinosaur monster called the Loch Ness. The pair on other hand are cornered by a shrimp monster and a trio of Serpoians. They over power Okarun and Aira, eventually capturing the former.
