Solo Leveling Season 2: Arise from the Shadow episode 5 featured Sung Jinwoo working as a luggage carrier. Initially, starting the day as an excavator, he volunteered to be a luggage carrier for the A-Rank dungeon under Son Kihoon’s strike team. While fans were excited to see the protagonist use his abilities to exorcise the demons, they had to wait for the next episode to experience it truly.
Most of the episodes were about Sung Jinwoo working as a secondary character. But, there was a particular moment that caught everyone’s attention. At the beginning of the episode, there was an encounter between Jinwoo and S-Rank Hunter Cha Hae-in. Cha Hae-in covers her nose while talking to others due to them giving off an unpleasant odor, but for some reason, Jinwoo’s smell is different from the rest.
What Happened When Sung Jinwoo Met Cha Hae-in?
Hunters Guild second-in-command, Cha Hae-in, has a weird ability. Even though she is an S-Rank Hunter, she cannot stand other hunters since they give off a bad odor. Her ability to sense mana makes it difficult for her to talk or maintain contact with others. Mana gives off a bad smell that makes her cover her nose while she is with other hunters.
However, at the beginning of Solo Leveling Season 2: Arise from the Shadow episode 5, when she conversed with Sung Jinwoo, she could not smell any bad odor from him. After she smelled him from up close, she found that rather than having an unpleasant smell, he smelled nice. It piqued her interest in him and made her gather news on E-Rank Hunter Sung Jinwoo.
Why Sung Jinwoo Does Not Drive Away Cha Hae-In?
Cha Hae-in’s ability to detect and smell mana is often problematic for her. Since it makes it difficult for her to withstand other hunters. Sung Jinwoo, missing an unpleasant odor like the other hunters, made the fan question his status as a hunter. However, it is nothing unnatural since Sung Jinwoo is not like other typical hunters.
