Kagurabachi is getting more interesting as the Sword Bearer Assassination Arc is progressing. Since Chapter 82, Chihiro Rokuhira has been fighting Seiichi Samura, with the latter having the upper hand throughout the battle. Samura is on a mission to prevent the Malediction from happening again, but it would cost his life. Chihiro suggested that there was a different way to change his fate, but Samura denied it.
Kagurabachi Chapter 84 was released on Sunday, June 29, 2025, and showcased the reason why Chihiro was right about the other way to prevent Malediction. Even though he was terribly injured, he managed to achieve something fascinating. To everyone’s surprise, Chihiro Rokuhira mimicked Tobimune’s Suzaku during mid-battle! Previously, it was the Iai White Purity technique, and now Chihiro has learned Suzaku, making his choices of attack stronger.
Suzaku Is No More Exclusive To Tobimune
Suzaku is one of the strongest abilities of Seiichi Samura’s Tobimune. It can not only instantly heal the user but apparently can also revive a dead person, as shown with Yoji Uruha. In Kagurabachi Chapter 84, Seiichi Samura disses Chihiro’s plan of using Enten to destroy all the Enchanted Swords by saying that the latter is living in his fantasy world, as he has not even been able to crack Tobimune. Saying this, he charged towards Chihiro and wounded his left hand. Unlike the past few slashes, Samura puts his everything into the fight so that the protagonist does not interfere in his matters anymore.
With Chihiro in pain and unable to wield his sword with a wounded hand, Masumi came to his rescue. Tobimune uses the crow feathers to detect all kinds of energy in the surroundings, but the Masumi have mastery in stealth, and using it, they try to stop Samura. It was at this moment that Chihiro called forth Aka, one of Enten’s abilities, which blocks and absorbs attacks and uses Suzaku to heal his hands. Everyone, including Seiichi Samura, was surprised to see Suzaku being used by Chihiro.
Seiichi Samura Vs. Chihiro Rokuhira Is Reaching Its Climax
The battle between Seiichi Samura and Chihiro Rokuhira has been going on for a couple of chapters now. However, the battle is likely approaching its end, as confirmed by Kagurabachi Chapter 84. Even though Chihiro is now able to use Suzaku thanks to Enten, he does not use it to heal his hands. He put all of his energy into one last attack. After fending off the Masumi, Seiichi prepared to shield the attack. In the last panel of the chapter, it was revealed that Enten has managed to land a small crack on Tobimune. The upcoming few chapters will be crucial as they might show whether Seiichi finally puts his faith in Chihiro or goes down the other way.
