With Choso joining Yuji Itadori and others in Jujutsu Kaisen, the Jujutsu Sorcerers have got their hands on a huge boost in the fight against Kenjaku. While Choso’s relationship with Yuji is indeed a plus point, what makes him the ideal collaborator is his Blood Manipulation.

As revealed in Jujutsu Kaisen, Choso is widely considered the strongest and most skilled Blood Manipulator. While he inherited the cursed technique from Noritoshi Kamo (Kenjaku), what makes him the strongest is his unique physiology as a Death Painting Womb, setting him apart from all curse users.

Choso’s Physiology Sets Him Apart From All Curse Users in Jujutsu Kaisen

Choso is unlike any other curse user because he is a Death Painting Womb (Special Grade Cursed Object). As a Death Painting Womb ingested by a human being, he has now incarnated into a full half-human, half-cursed spirit capable of using jujutsu.

As such, what sets him apart are the qualities that come from both sides. For instance, the primary reason why Choso is considered the best Blood Manipulator is that he has an inexhaustible supply of blood. As seen in the fight between Choso and Naoya Zenin.

Normal humans who use Blood Manipulation are limited by their own physiology. They must manage their blood loss carefully and may even need to carry bags of it into a fight. If the user exhausts their bodily blood reserves, they even risk death.

In comparison, as a Death Painting Womb, Choso can convert his cursed energy into blood. This means that, as long as he has sufficient cursed energy, he can keep using Blood Manipulation without risking death.

On top of that, Choso’s blood is inherently toxic, a trait derived from his physiology as a half-cursed spirit. As such, on contact, his blood passively acts as a potent poison, draining the target’s stamina.

Choso Has Mastered Blood Manipulation

As Choso is a Death Painting Womb, he has been alive for 150 years as a cursed object. During those years, he spent much of his time honing his Blood Manipulation. As such, Choso has mastered his cursed technique, even far surpassing the person he inherited it from, Noritoshi Kamo.

Not to mention, the time Choso spent training also saw him gain immense physical endurance and strength. This is why he can withstand multiple powerful hits from strong opponents that would have incapacitated a normal human being. Not to mention, Choso can also harden the blood within his body to defend against any incoming attacks.
