With the release of Gachiakuta episode 22, the anime finally concluded the Cleaners’ battle against the Raiders, as Zodyl Typhon and his allies teleported away from inside the Trash Beast.
While the Cleaners’ next task should have been to try and stop the Trash Beast from crossing the border, one of Rudo’s earlier attacks cracked a hole in the Trash Beast. As such, the Cleaners had no choice but to hold onto the ground, hoping they don’t get sucked out.
Just as all hope seemed lost, the Cleaners’ missing member, Guita, appeared out of thin air, saving the day with her Vital Instrument’s powers.
What is Guita’s Vital Instrument in Gachiakuta?
Guita’s Vital Instrument is her green “kaiju” Onesie. As fans must recall, Guita made her first appearance in Gachiakuta Episode 4 as part of the team Child alongside Bro and Dear. However, at the time, the anime did not share any details about her Vital Instrument.
While it was not a straightforward hint, given Guita’s ability, there is a chance that her excitement toward animals and monsters was a cue to her Vital Instrument’s powers. Nevertheless, it cannot be confirmed.
Speaking of her Vital Instrument, according to manga creator Kei Urana, Guita’s onesie has a “toasty” smell, one that comes from a blanket that hasn’t been washed for months.

Guita’s Vital Instrument Powers Explained
Guita’s Vital Instrument, i.e., her onesie, allows her to transform into a kaiju monster. This transformation not only allows her to grow to a massive size but also grants her powerful, destructive capabilities.
Also, as hinted at by the anime, Guita can grow much more bigger in size than she did in Gachiakuta episode 22. This is apparent from her exchange with Bro. When Guita asked him how far she was allowed to go, Bro promptly asked her not to go higher than three. This likely implies that Guita must have previously grown much larger in size, possibly putting her teammates in trouble.
It is also to be noted that, when Guita transforms into her kajiu form, her body becomes soft and plushy. As such, she can survive high falls and also dampen the damage for anyone who is holding onto her. Also, while Guita is incapable of flying, she can use her large kaiju body to glide to some extent.
